At Aruí, we believe that transparency is the foundation of any relationship. Just as we value clean code, we value a clear data policy.

This document explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you browse our digital ecosystem (arui.digital), in compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

1. What we collect (and why)

We collect information for two main purposes: to ensure the technical functioning of the website and to understand how you interact with our content to continuously improve it.

A. Navigation Data (Cookies and LocalStorage)

We use storage technologies in your browser for two distinct purposes:

Functionality and Accessibility (Essential)

For the website to respect your visual choices, we save small pieces of information on your device (LocalStorage). This data does not personally identify you and is vital for the website’s usability:

  • theme_preference: Remembers if you prefer Light, Dark, or High Contrast mode.
  • arui_zoom_ignorado: Remembers that you have already seen/closed our accessibility notices.
  • zen / flow: Remembers your preferences for reducing motion in animations.

Analysis and Improvement (Optional)

We use third-party tools, managed via Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors interact with our website.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Collects anonymous metrics about which pages you visit, time spent, and clicks on contact channels. The cookies _ga and _gid collect data anonymously.

Microsoft Clarity: Visual analysis tool (heatmaps) to understand interface usability. We apply two strict layers of privacy:

  1. Strict Masking: All text is replaced by asterisks (**) in the recording.
  2. Restricted Scope: Monitoring occurs only on the Home Page.

LinkedIn Insight Tag: Collects professional demographic data (such as job title, industry, and company size) in an aggregated and anonymous form. We use it to understand the professional profile of our audience, without identifying you individually.

Facebook Pixel: Collects data about your interactions with the website (such as page views) to help us understand the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and create custom audiences for future ads. Pixel-related cookies (such as _fbp, _fbc) collect data anonymously.

Your control: These scripts are only loaded if you click “Accept All” on our privacy banner. If you choose “Only Essential,” tracking remains blocked.

B. Contact Data

When you click on the “Talk to us” buttons (WhatsApp or Email), you voluntarily provide us with data such as your phone number or email address. We use this information exclusively to respond to your project request or inquiry.

2. Data Sharing

Aruí does not sell your data. Sharing occurs only with partner tools necessary for the website’s operation and only with your consent:

  • Google (Analytics and Tag Manager): For processing access and interaction metrics.
  • LinkedIn (Insight Tag): For statistical analysis of visitors’ professional profiles.
  • Microsoft (Clarity): For processing visual usability data.
  • Meta (Facebook Pixel and WhatsApp): For processing website interaction data (Pixel) and redirection for direct contact (WhatsApp), both governed by Meta’s privacy policy.

3. Your Rights (LGPD)

You are the data subject of your personal data. At any time, you may exercise your rights under Article 18 of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), including:

  • Confirm whether we process your data.
  • Request the deletion of personal data we have collected.
  • Revoke consent for the use of analysis and improvement cookies (simply clear your browser’s cache or change your preferences in our banner).

4. Security

We adopt the best secure development practices (HTTPS/SSL, clean architecture) to protect the data transmitted between your device and our servers. However, remember that no system is 100% infallible.
